Celebrity spouses Marko Jaric and Adriana Lima, who in December bought a luxurious villa on a private island of Indian Creek in Florida, will soon have one more famous neighbour - Alex Rodriguez.The star of the Yankees baseball club, Rodriguez became known to a wider global public as the pop queen Madonna’s lover and boyfriend of actress Kate Hudson.

He is soon to join Julio Iglesias, spouses Jaric - Lima and other celebrities who own land on Indian Creek.The Serbian basketball player and his Brazilian top model wife bought a villa on this private island just prior to Jaric’s move to Real Madrid, so only Adriana and their daughter Valentina occasionally stay on the premises.

According to reports published back then in Wall Street Journal, Lima and Jaric had allocated nine million dollars for this house, which extends to 700 square meters. Alex Rodriguez is prepared to splash out a much larger sum for his own new home on the island, and has reportedly shown interest in a $57m estate.
Indian Creek Island is located near Miami Beach, on the southern side of Biscayne Bay and is home to only 32 villas.

It is interesting that celebrities opt for Indian Creek because it has its own police forces in charge of the safety of the local residents, and a spacious country club golf course, which allows them to relax in complete privacy.
Although Lima and Jaric had planned to renovate and expand their Indian Creek villa, there will likely be a postponement of the plan for some time as it is expected Adriana and Valentina will rejoin Marko in Spain for the time being.
